Well people, it is official: tomorrow I teach my very first high school class. What is the one thing running through my mind??? What should I wear. LOL. Wore a skirt today, and some nice pants the other days...Got to be comfortable for my first day though. Lots of time to think about it tonight I suppose!
In other news, I am all ready with my unit plan, and 1st lesson plan, I hope the kids are receptive and like the group work. I must think of a plan B tonight in case it fails!
Also, today I found our old grade 8 text book, "Across the Centuries." I was totally thrilled by this. One picture I distinctly remember was one of Charlemagne. Lots of resources to spare. I found out today, or rather forgot and was reminded that there was a fire in the school a month ago, and so now classes are being conducted in the library, so my plans of library research are a no go!
